Biography
Misha was born and raised in New Jersey but spent part of her childhood living in Prague, Czech Republic where her family is from. In 2021, she moved to New Orleans to attend Tulane University and earned a B.S. in Psychology with minors in Spanish and Teaching, Learning, & Training. As an undergraduate, Misha worked for a plethora of student support offices including OISS, First-Year Experience, NTC Student Success, the Residence Hall Association (HRL), and Academic Advising. In 2023, she studied and worked abroad in Montevideo, Uruguay–an experience that transformed her relationship with work-life balance. Before making her way back to Tulane, Misha worked in SNAP-ed in Philadelphia and then as a Spanish teacher in New Orleans East.
As a Success Coach, Misha collaborates with students to identify their personal and academic goals. She helps them envision their potential and work backwards to break it down into less overwhelming steps. Misha is particularly passionate about creating personalized systems that match each student’s cognitive style. And as a Tulane graduate herself, she is familiar with the unique opportunities and challenges faced by Tulane students.
