Sara holds a Master of Education in Counseling and Development from Winthrop University and is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). A proponent of continuing education, Sara is currently enrolled in the Master of Business Administration evening program at Tulane University. Sara completed a graduate internship in the Career & Civic Engagement Center at Winthrop University, where she realized her love of working one-on-one with undergraduate students to support them in achieving their goals. She has spent the last four years in New Orleans working in higher education at both Dillard University and Tulane University in various capacities, including personal and academic growth, career development, and community service.
Through Success Coaching, Sara builds collaborative and creative partnerships with Tulane University students. Sara enjoys partnering with students to set and achieve academic, career, and personal goals that are intentional and attainable. She is passionate about personal development and helps her students develop confidence, empowering them to look within for possibilities. Connecting students to the campus community, Sara works closely with campus partners to help students maximize their college experience. Being in the present with unconditional positive regard, Sara hears the greatness and gifts of her students and co-designs actions that fit the student’s goals and learning style.
