Want to meet with another Tulane student to discuss your academic, personal, and career success? In partnership with Academic Success Coaching, students can now meet with Peer Success Leaders.
The Peer Success Leader Program is a student support service within Newcomb-Tulane College’s Success Coaching Program. PSLs are fellow undergraduate students whose role is to provide support and encouragement to you as you navigate the challenges associated with adjusting to college.
A PSL will partner with you to identify obstacles to success and facilitate behavioral and mindset changes to overcome these barriers. Some of the barriers to success that PSLs may assist with include but are not limited to: goal setting, interacting with professors, motivation, note-taking, organization, study skills, technology use, test taking strategies, time management, and utilizing campus resources.
PSLs are sophomore, junior, or senior students and must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8. To apply, students must be nominated by a Tulane faculty or staff member. Nominees will then be emailed an application. If you have any questions, please contact Tanya Mandishona, firstname.lastname@example.org.
